Momentous Protein Guide: Whey Isolate, Plant Protein and Recovery
Momentous sells three main protein options. They overlap less than you’d think: one is a straight dairy protein, one is dairy-free, and one is a post-workout shake with carbs built in.
Product details below are summarized from Momentous’s own product pages (checked Oct 18, 2026). Where I describe what a product is “for,” that is Momentous’s stated positioning, not my claim.
The three options
Momentous Whey Protein Isolate
NSF Certified for Sport®
20 g grass-fed whey protein per serving; 25 servings per container
Sourced from European dairy farms; includes ProHydrolase® enzyme
Unflavored version ingredients: grass-fed whey protein isolate, ProHydrolase®
You eat dairy and want simple protein: Whey Protein Isolate. The unflavored version is just whey isolate plus an enzyme.
Vegan, dairy-free, or dairy doesn’t sit well: 100% Plant Protein (pea + brown rice).
Long or high-volume sessions where you also want carbs after: Recovery, which Momentous positions for endurance and high-output training.
Protein powder is a convenience food. Momentous itself frames it as a way to help hit daily protein goals alongside whole foods, not a replacement for meals.
Good to know
Momentous notes its whey isolate is not guaranteed lactose-free; check with your doctor if you have severe lactose intolerance.
